Way Technology has supported over 15 charities and foundations over the past few years; not only in financial support but in volunteer hours. All employees are encouraged to take a day each month to dedicate to the community outreach of their choice. This is in addition to the company-wide outreach that we do as a whole.
Below, you'll find a list of the charities and foundations that Way Technology has supported in the past and will continue to support:
Way Tech volunteers have served for the past two years helping with this summer fundraising event.
Our employees were part of the event planning committees, "Race Day" staff, and volunteer sales staff working at various locations around the St Louis area. We raised many thousands of dollars to fund various HHBGC year-round programs supporting hundreds of area youth.

Our employees have worked on several projects coordinated by "Restore St. Louis". The most challenging, but rewarding, was removal of 300 yards of chain link fence topped with barbed wire. The fence made it difficult for police and residents to move in and around the complex. Our teams cut down all the wire, removed and rolled all the fencing and cut down every fence pole.
Our business also donated items for fundraising events.

For several summers we have sent teams of 6-8 employees every few weeks to the Harambee training center to meet and talk with the youth. We would also prepare them a hearty breakfast before they start their work day learning job skills.
Our business has also donated items for fundraising events.

Over the past three years, our employees have volunteered 20-30 work days at MTC for demolition projects needed to gut and prepare the building for future use.
Our employees have helped plan and staff fundraising and open house events.
We helped in the spring of 2008 after a flash flood hit the building. We removed debris and hosed down mud from seven feet of flood waters.
We have donated food for open house meetings – fund raiser events and community events sponsored by MTC in the Wellston Community.
Our Vice President was recruited to serve on the MTC Board of Directors.

Near our former office building, we have been very active with Circle of Concern.
Our employees have generously donated to special Way Tech food drives for cereal (700 boxes!), canned goods and a pasta drive (600 boxes!)
In March 2008, we responded to call for help by sending a team and help evacuate all equipment from the building due to a serious flooding threat.
For the past three years we have closed our entire business and sent 30+ employees to the holiday food drive for Thanksgiving, packing 650-700 boxes (each year)of food area families in need.

Each month, we send a full year of sponsorship to a different child. Your contributions this month are helping us to sponsor Gabriela, a 4-year-old girl who lives in Mexico. Aid to Gabriela and her village is provided by Children International, which has been helping impoverished children and their families since 1936 and now reaches more than 300,000 children around the globe. We also sponsor kids through Save the Children and other respected agencies.
