There are two things you should know, however, when you are trying to upgrade your Mac mini memory. The first one concerns the memory, the other one is about opening the case. Apple computers that have more than one memory slot function better when the two slots have equal RAM, so think about that before purchasing the upgrades. Their case is quite delicate, and if you decide to open it yourself, you might want to avoid sharp knives and screwdrivers and try a plastic putty knife instead.
